We are a think tank composed of researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs and creatives who have spent the last decades cracking the Sustainable Growth Equation for businesses and societies. We have developed a solution for companies to become a healthy ecosystem of people, projects and processes. We champion entrepreneurship as a solution to solving SDGs through leadership, dialogue and action. We use entrepreneurship to solve youth unemployment by transforming socio-economic management philosophies and supporting institutional effectiveness in Africa through entrepreneurship research, education, advisory and policy advocacy at the local, national and regional levels.
At CIRMI we aim to foster a culture of entrepreneurship by cultivating and supporting value-based, purpose-driven researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs across Africa to turn their ideas into sustainable businesses impacting individuals and society. Our campus provides a conducive entrepreneurship ecosystem that allows us to implement projects, lead service-delivery programs and support program expansions. Also, we achieve sustainable results by applying the Decalogue Management Methodology™ and Ess3ntial software™ for project management.
CIRMI serves as a platform for empowering entrepreneurs and transforming businesses. Also, we provide quality research analyses, and organise policy dialogue on issues affecting entrepreneurs for stakeholders from the private sector, government, national assembly, and civil society. The policy-oriented research carried out by the institute, including the articulation of policy choices, tradeoffs and implications, is put forward to the general public and decision-makers to stimulate rigorous debates on the effects of government policies on socio-economic growth and development in Kenya, East Africa and Africa.
CIRMI is poised to drive economic growth, sustainability, and job creation in Kenya & neighbouring countries. We assist in entrepreneurship ecosystem development, investment engagements, job placements, enterprise task force support and capacity building of entrepreneurs and organisations. At the national level we enable African governments improve their performance of service delivery using our management methodology (The Decalogue). We enhance institutional systems, organisational change and sustainable socio-economic development. Also, CIRMI advocates for a conducive environment for entrepreneurs to thrive.
In addition, CIRMI’s mission is to ensure entrepreneurs have sound data, a method and elements of knowledge to systemically develop breakthrough solutions that build sustainable businesses along with the ability to implement innovative ideas creating a flourishing society.
